Spullersee (Copy)
The Spullersee is an originally natural high mountain lake in Vorarlberg. It was dammed up between 1919 and 1925 by the Austrian Federal Railways on the occasion of the electrification of the Arlberg Railway and has since been used for energy generation. In addition to numerous hikes on and around the Spullersee, this is also a popular fishing spot. Whether rainbow, brook or lake trout, lake or brook trout, beautiful salmonids can be caught at almost any point of the approximately 50-acre reservoir.
The Spullersee can be reached in several ways: on foot from Klostertal and from Lech Zürs, by hiking bus from Dalaas or Lech or by bike through the Zugertal to Spullersee.
The journey by car to Spullersee is only possible via the toll road (€ 15) from the Zug district. In addition, there is a general ban on driving between 08:00 am and 4:30 pm, but the local bus Lech regularly operates during this time.
