Skiing history has been written on the Arlberg in many ways. The history of the legendary brand is closely linked to the beginnings of skiing on the Arlberg.

Up here, more than 90 years ago, Anton Kästle found the inspiration for the vision of a revolutionary ski. It was to be the first ski made of ash wood: the Arlberg Ski. Later this ski developed into the Kästle brand. Kästle was founded in 1924 in Vorarlberg and over the decades has brought many professionals international victories. After quieter times, Kästle celebrated a brilliant comeback in 2007.
