Fabulous experiences for the whole family

The circular trail can be completed in about one hour. Along the way there are rest areas with benches for a snack and a rest. Entertainment is provided by 6 stations that tell well-known fairy tales, legends from the region and interesting facts about nature:

  • "The honey bees"
  • "The legend of the Peterstein
  • "The Frog King
  • "The Legend of the Rosenegg Castle
  • "The Schesaplana Saga"

The boards were artistically staged by the children of the kindergarten, the primary school and the middle school in Bürs. Funny wooden men accompany them as signposts along the way. A fairytale delight for young and old!

Route description

Starting point: town centre/municipal office, Bürs

End point: town centre, Bürs

The trail starts at the town hall in Bürs past the church in the direction of Schassweg. First follow the Schassweg for a short distance before the path branches off towards Rosenegg Castle. From there the path leads through the forest and via Hinterburgweg back to the starting point.

Municipal office - St. Martin's Church - Obergasse - Schassweg - turn right - forest path to Schasswiesen (small wooden hut on the right) - turn left towards the biotope - forest path towards Rosenegg Castle - before the entrance gate, turn right along the path to the feeding stand - Hinterburgweg - Werkstraße - municipal office.

Alternative way back: At the biotope, turn left onto the paved forest road towards the valley - Schassweg - Obergasse - municipal office.
